Kyrie Irving Leaves Game With Left Knee Sprain

Kyrie Irving exited Monday’s game between the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings with what has been initially diagnosed as a left knee sprain. Irving landed awkwardly after being fouled on a drive to the basket in the first quarter. Irving remained on the court for several minutes.

Irving initially left the court for the locker room before returning to the court to take two free throws.

Irving came into the game averaging 25.0 points and was an All-Star replacement this season. Irving can become a free agent in the offseason if he decides his player option.
