Dunkest Playoff NBA Fantasy Tips, R11: the heart of Josh Hart

Everything you need for Round 11 of Dunkest Playoff NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position.

NBA Playoffs, what happens to Fantabasket?

The regular season has ended, making way for the most thrilling part of the year: the NBA Playoffs. With the start of the postseason, the Dunkest Fantabasket dedicated to the Playoffs begins, offering a new challenge for all enthusiasts, with slightly different rules and dynamics compared to the regular season.

Teams not on the schedule

Teams NOT on the schedule (players, coaches, and those unavailable) will NOT be considered ‘resting teams’ and will NOT receive their average score but 0 points. Teams not on the schedule are obviously those eliminated or those already qualified, who are waiting for the opponent to face in the next round of the Playoffs.

NBA Fantasy Captain Picks

Are you unsure who to make captain for the Dunkest round? Here are our tips, one for each turn.

Centers

Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers, 10.9 cr)

Leaving aside Jokic (who certainly doesn’t need our advice), there isn’t a center we can fully trust to consistently give us at least thirty points. In terms of value for money, one of the best remains undoubtedly the Pacers’ center. In the first three games, he put up impressive stats, and Indiana will need to try and win Game 4 to avoid the risk of a difficult comeback.

Mitchell Robinson (New York Knicks, 4.6 cr)

It’s that time of year when 90% of players with few credits rarely see the court, if at all – and, as always, the situation is most complicated for centers. Apart from the starters, there are very few players under 7 credits who manage to scrape together some minutes on the floor. One of them could be Mitchell Robinson.

Forwards

Jimmy Butler (Golden State Warriors, 12.9 cr)

As expected, the Warriors without Curry suffered a clear defeat against the T’Wolves, tying the series at 1-1. However, in the Bay, the scenario could change, and Jimmy’s full offensive contribution will be needed to avoid another loss.

Jonathan Kuminga (Golden State, 4.7 cr)

Despite limited use in these playoffs, Kuminga was ready when called upon, scoring 18 points with an impressive 8/11 from the field, despite his Warriors’ loss. At under 5 credits, it’s hard to find a better player than Jonathan.

Guards

Josh Hart (New York Knicks, 13.8 cr)

With the Knicks riding high after winning the first two games in Boston, both coming back from a 20-point deficit, we expect New York to soar, fueled by the energy of the home crowd. Hart has been showing an impressive consistency in these playoffs: an average of 30 fantasy points in all 8 games played so far, with no peaks or drops. Tonight, he can definitely make his impact.

Buddy Hield (Golden State Warriors, 7 cr)

With Curry’s absence, the choice falls on Buddy Hield. The former King is proving to be an essential weapon for the Warriors, and without their leader on the court, the contribution of the bench players will be crucial. In the last three games, he has averaged 30 points, and in the Bay, he could light it up once again.

Coach

Joe Mazzulla (Boston Celtics, 10.7 cr)

After two incredible comebacks from a 20-point deficit and shooting percentages from beyond the arc far from their regular season levels, Boston finds itself down 0-2 in the series and already with its back against the wall, facing Games 3 and 4 at Madison Square Garden. I can’t imagine the Celtics being down 0-3, so I trust in Mazzulla’s adjustments ahead of this game.
