The Chicago Bulls are open to trading Zach LaVine, as per his request. However, the Bulls aren’t looking to give LaVine away in a deal just to shed his salary. Chicago is still looking for a strong return for the veteran guard.
The Bulls and Detroit Pistons recently engaged in trade discussions involving LaVine. However, things never got serious enough for a trade to be considered close.
LaVine requested a trade earlier this season, and it was reported Chicago would attempt to accommodate his request. However, no serious market has developed for LaVine, who is owed just over $178 million through 2026-27.
