J.J. Redick and the Los Angeles Lakers have had minimal contact, sources tell Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Rumors connecting Redick to the Lakers have been abundant in recent weeks, but he has avoided discussing it publicly while the franchise also pursued Danny Hurley with a lucrative offer.
The Lakers’ strong pursuit of Hurley signals they are not necessarily love with the idea of hiring Redick or the other known candidate James Borrego.
Redick is currently broadcasting the NBA Finals for ESPN.
