The Dallas Mavericks are motivated to trade away Tim Hardaway Jr. this offseason. Hardaway is entering the final season of his contract at $16.2 million for 24-25. Hardaway largely fell out of the Mavericks’ rotation during the playoffs.
Hardaway appeared in 79 games, averaging 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 26.8 minutes. ย
The Mavericks would like to re-sign Derrick Jones Jr., who became their starting small forward after signing to a minimum deal in the 2023 offseason.
Hardaway is represented by Zach Kurtin,ย while Jones’ agent is Aaron Turner.ย
