Derrick Jones Jr. and the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal.
The Dallas Mavericks entered the offseason prioritizing Jones, but they instead pivoted to Naji Marshall on a three-year, $27 million deal and are also pursuing Klay Thompson.
Jones emerged as a key three-and-D wing for the Mavericks on their run to The Finals. Jones signed a deal at the veteran’s minimum last offseason.
