The Utah Jazz used their remaining $3 million in cap space to sign Kyle Filipowski to a four-year, $12 million deal. The deal is the largest for a player selected in the second round over the past two seasons. Filipowski’s first year salary is approximately the same as the 22nd overall pick.
Filipowski, who is represented by Kyle McAlarneyΒ and Mark Bartelstein, was a green room invite and expected to be a first round pick.
In eight Summer League games, Filipowski averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22.2 minutes.
