New Earl Monroe Basketball School breaks ground in the Bronx | Outside the Lines

On Outside the Lines, Jeremy Schaap reports on the impact and vision behind the new Earl Monroe Renaissance Basketball School in the Bronx, ahead of its September 25th groundbreaking.

Named after NBA legend Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, this charter high school offers a unique, basketball-focused curriculum that goes beyond the court, preparing students for careers in broadcasting, management, and health within the sports industry.

Since its founding in 2021, the school has operated in a temporary location, but the new facility will soon be their permanent home.
