The Oklahoma City Thunder are doing what they can to keep their championship roster together. The Thunder and Jaylin Williams have agreed to a three-year extension worth $24 million. The third year of Williams’ new deal will include a team option.
Williams saw his role reduced this season, after Oklahoma City signed Isaiah Hartenstein. However, the Thunder see Williams as a valuable part of their depth and team chemistry.
In 47 games, Williams averaged 5.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 16.7 minutes per game. Williams also shot 39.9% on 3.3 three-point attempts per game.
