Brook Lopez and the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a two-year, $18 million deal. Lopez will give the Clippers depth at center behind Ivica Zubac and could even play beside each other in double-big lineups. Lopez, who is represented by Darren Matsubara, will be signed by the Clippers using part of their $14.1 million non-taxpayer midlevel exception.
Lopez averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.9 blocks in 31.8 minutes across 80 games for the Milwaukee Bucks. Lopez shot 37.3 percent on three-pointers last season. Lopez spent seven seasons with the Bucks and won a title in 2023.
The Clippers will be hare capped at the first apron by signing Lopez.
