The Golden State Warriors have interest in signing De’Anthony Melton. The Warriors signed Melton during the 2024 offseason to a one-year, $12.8 million deal. Melton was the only free agent last offseason to sign for the full midlevel exception.
Melton was traded to the Brooklyn Nets or Dennis Schroder after his ACL surgery.
Melton averaged 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 37.1 percent on three-pointers over six games with the Warriors before his injury.
The Los Angeles Lakers have also expressed interest in Melton, who is represented by Joe Smith, Thaddeus Foucher and Aaron Klevan.
Golden State also continues to have interest in eventually signing Al Horford, while they have now additionally been linked with Bradley Beal.
