
The Los Angeles Lakers have waived Jordan Goodwin, which was a move that became necessary in order to sign Marcus Smart. Goodwin had just $25,000 in guaranteed money for the 2025-26 season.
Goodwin appeared in 29 games for the Lakers last season, averaging 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18.7 minutes.
The Lakers also waived Shake Milton to get below the first apron.
