Richard Jefferson has a contract in place to return to ABC/ESPN for next season and is expected to work the NBA Finals with Mike Breen, sources told Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.
Marchand adds that Doris Burke’s role on the broadcast team with Jefferson and Breen remains in question.
The contract is not officially signed, with Amazon Prime Video having interest in adding Jefferson at some point.
If Burke were to be replaced, Tim Legler is a candidate to take the the position. ESPN could also go with a two-commentator booth.
