One of Kaylor’s top NFL DFS picks for Thursday Night Football is 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel. The 28-year-old only had one reception for 11 yards on three targets and three carries for nine yards last week, but the 49ers offense was far from perfect in a 24-23 loss to the Cardinals. Samuel had more than 50 yards in each of his first three games, averaging 74 receiving yards over those contests, and Kaylor expects a more typical 49ers successful offensive performance on Thursday.
Samuel had seven receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown in last year’s final meeting against Seattle. He has at least one catch of 15 yards or more in three of five games this season and given the 49ers are sure to focus much of their defensive attention on containing Metcalf, Smith-Njigba could be in line to be a significant value at his price for NFL DFS lineups.
