Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram has been cleared for contact. Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said that will allow Ingram to start ramping up his on-court work.
“He’s pain-free, he’s moving well, he got stronger. He’s in a really, really great spot,” Rajakovic said about Ingram.
The 10th-year forward did not appear in a game after being acquired by Toronto at least season’s trade deadline. The Raptors chose to have Ingram continue to rehab from a serious ankle injury. Despite that injury, Toronto inked Ingram to a three-year, $120 million extension.
Rajakovic said that Ingram has been doing individual work with the team. In the coming days, the veteran forward will begin scrimmaging again.
