Everything you need for Round 10 of Dunkest Playoff NBA Fantasy. From fantasy basketball tips, position by position.
NBA Playoffs, what happens to Fantabasket?
The regular season has ended, making way for the most thrilling part of the year: the NBA Playoffs. With the start of the postseason, the Dunkest Fantabasket dedicated to the Playoffs begins, offering a new challenge for all enthusiasts, with slightly different rules and dynamics compared to the regular season.
Teams not on the schedule
Teams NOT on the schedule (players, coaches, and those unavailable) will NOT be considered βresting teamsβ and will NOT receive their average score but 0 points. Teams not on the schedule are obviously those eliminated or those already qualified, who are waiting for the opponent to face in the next round of the Playoffs.
NBA Fantasy Captain Picks
Are you unsure who to make captain for the Dunkest round? Here are our tips, one for each turn.
Centers
Myles Turner (Indiana Pacers, 11 cr)
Turnerβs season has been a mix of ups and downs, but the playoffs are a different story. His shooting percentages and impact on both ends of the floor have caused problems for opposing defenses, especially the Cavsβ. Heβs a player to watch closely in Game 3.
Naz Reid (Minnesota Timberwolves, 8.4 cr)
Golden State prefers small-ball, which could limit Gobertβs minutes on the court. Reid, much more mobile than the Frenchman, takes advantage of this. In Game 1, he recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds, and now heβs expected to repeat that performance in Game 2.
Forwards
Aaron Gordon (Denver Nuggets, 10.3 cr)
Gordon was pivotal in the Game 1 win. The game-winner and his 14 rebounds were crucial for the Nuggets. OKC now faces the challenge of chasing the series to regain home-court advantage. Another big performance from the former Orlando Magic player will be needed to secure the win.
Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors, 8.9 cr)
Curry will be out for at least a week due to a muscle issue. Draymond will be forced to play extra minutes on offense, likely taking on the role of βpoint forward.β So far, his impact in the playoffs has been very positive, which is a promising sign.
Guards
Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers, 18.7 cr)
Clutch in Games 1 and 2 of the second round of the playoffs, the former Kings player is showing his full value in this series. The next two games will be played at the Pacersβ home, where Tyrese excels. A 3-0 lead is not out of reach.
Buddy Hield (Golden State Warriors, 7 cr)
With Curry sidelined, Buddy Hield has had the freedom to shine. He struggled a bit during the regular season, but in the playoffs, heβs proven to be a key factor for the Warriorsβ offense, especially in Game 7 against the Rockets. If Golden State wants to secure another win in Minnesota, they need to get the 1992-born player in rhythm right from the start.
Coach
Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors, 9.1 cr)
Despite Steph Curryβs absence, weβre taking a chance with the Warriorsβ coach. The Timberwolves have been struggling with their shooting, and the small-ball lineup paid off in Game 1. In Game 2, stopping Edwards will be crucial to securing another win in Minnesota.
